The PCI Express riser card by Delock can be plugged into any PCI Express x1 slot on the motherboard. The PCI Express board can be mounted in a different position in the case. This allows up to four graphics cards to be operated in each PCIe slot of a motherboard, even if the graphics cards are wider than a single slot.
Crypto mining and resource sharing
The computing power of up to four graphics cards can be used on one PCI Express x1 slot.
In this way, the computing power of the graphics cards for research projects such as Folding@Home can be shared via a cloud. Furthermore, the riser card can also be used for mining crypto currencies.
